hey, Its a special visor they put on the window to block u from seeing out so that u concentrate on the instruments :) ... dont know what the name for it is tho :P hope i helped :)

They are screens to stop the student looking out the windschield, as its an instrument test he or she is only supposed to fly using his or her instruments!!hope that explanation helps!!
