  • Do you recommend building hertas with feet? as in with a double pedal.

would it help my left foot build chops?

    thanks!

  • @drummerkidmashy Hey drummerkid... thanks for all your encouragement man! I'm glad you're enjoying the vids. As for double pedal, I've heard that hertas work great for building those chops. I can't actually say myself because I don't play double pedal at all, but it seems like a lot of guys like hertas for their feet.

  • Very nice lesson. What are the sizes of the drums on your kit? They sound fantastic. Take care & God bless.

    Regards,

    Marco

  • marco...

  • When I go fast I can't really tell if I just do quads with emphasis on the fourth strike or if I really do the hertas correctly .. :/

  • when I go fast I can't really tell if I am doing quads or hertas :/

  • @stephengoold great! Thank you for the quick feedback!

    excellent!

I could tell you played single and with the style of the bands you're in.

I've heard Jeremy Sanoski band live, but Levi Stugelmeyer was filling in for you! haha.

quite a while back. I really love the sound of the band though. And I appreciate your style! I would love to take lessons some day from you!

  • @NascentDrummer Nope, this is a 3/4th beat, while a paradiddle is 4/4. Each capital letter is a 4th: Hertas: R l R (1/8 rest, making the beat 1/4th) L (1/8 rest), Paradiddle: R l R r L r L l ( or the other way around, anyway: no rests)

  • @NascentDrummer nope

  • Very cool! thanks!
