These so-called specialists obviously know nothing about abuse: how it turns you into someone completely in the abuser's reality and power. Knowing the complete control he had over her, and how her entire life had been spent with those around her backing that up, what could she do? She finally snapped. I know how much courage it takes to finally go to the police.
