Directed and Co-produced by Michael Cohen and Tom Daniels, Blind Love won an Emmy in 1981. Working with then CBS's Jimmy Meyer (Editor, Cinematography) Blind Love documented the story of a "different person," when the United States was at a crossroads: Josh is blind and autistic. In that United Nations "Year of the Disabled Child," he was the poster for the suffering and challenges of being a "handicapped" person in a world of "normalcy."
In this clip, we see 6 year old Josh riding the school bus to the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind along with a diverse group of special needs students.
