Haunting and enigmatic, S.K. Thoth built a reputation as one of America's great street performers. Chronicling his life from childhood to the present, "Thoth" captures the spirit of an individual who has made personal freedom his occupation. Directed by Sarah Kernochan, the film won the 2002 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.

I'm not a fan of his performance. I honestly don't like it. But I admire him for being creative and doing what he likes. It is truly a unique performance. I wish him nothing but the best.

Everyone here reminds me of the followers of Forrest Gump when he was running across America. They all came up with deep and meaningful explanations yet he said himself "I just felt like running". This guy is a street performer who has been elevated to a position by people who desperately want to believe in something. I think all the so called "haters" on here are just people refusing to be fooled by anything. I get the feeling this guy is about to pull out a bottle of snake oil and sell it!

I saw him once at Golden Gate Park in SF. He is amazing!
He is an inspiration to watch. He knows how to express himself in ways most people are afraid to. I strive to have the courage he has and i will learn to express myself openly and let the nay sayers fall to the side.
