A drive from Bristol Bridge to Redland, via The Centre, Park Street, the Wills Tower (in scaffolding, being cleaned) and Whiteladies Road. Music from Koyaanisqatsi and a snatch of BBC Radio 2 at the end.

  • Nice video, David. Do those zig zag lines at junctions prohibit one from changing lanes?

  • I had to check this in my copy of the Highway Code (the book all road users in the UK have to study and know. (And they're tested on it when they take their driving test.)

Motorists are not allowed to leave a vehicle on the white zigzags, not even for a moment. Nor may they overtake there. The zigzags appear by pedestrian crossings, and ensure no-one's view is obstructed. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!

  • Thanks, Denny! Come over here and try — you'll enjoy it.

  • What a nice atmosphere when the sun came out.

Now, after your videos of Bristol, its more improbable for me to get lost there.

    Please keep up whith that.

  • Thanks! I'm pleased you liked it. This is higher quality a re-posting of a video made early last year.

  • Okay, thanks.

  • I gotta say, that right drive still looks really different to deal with. Good video Dave, really good video quality.
