  • I have fed her canned food for years now at the direction of my vet. No dry food. Now I am going to try the fish oil as well as the Azidyl in hopes it stops the sickness and pain. Pain mostly from a cyst on her kidney. If I could trade place with my little girl, I would in a heart beat!

  • Thank you so much. I am up now with Ripley, my 22 year old Calico. She is having a hard time drinking even though she tries all the time. She digs at the drinkwell fountain fruitlessly. I then put a little water in a plastic lid where she takes about 10 minutes to lap up just minimal amounts of water. I'm also giving Subcutaneous Fluids 100ml in the mornings. We are desperate at this point and really not happy at the attitude of 'just give up' we received from our vet.

  • You emphasized the use of canned cat food for the moisture, specifically the senior diet. My question is the senior diet in dry food equally as good? I have some Hill's Prescription diet "KD" I obtained from my vet for a cat I had that had kidney failure and wondered if it was equally as good as the canned. Unfortunately, this cat had the problem in advanced stages and could not be helped but I have another cat the same age who does not have symptoms yet and I want to begin prevention now.

  • Thank you so much for this vid , it helps alot ! seriously ! Question though : why does my cat walk around confused ? Like he goes up to his water and just looks at it , or just stands there ! Gets up for nothing sometimes ! same thing our other cat did but she had cancer in her shoulder caused from some damn vaccination , what kind Idk ! if you can please reply ..I'd appreciate it !

  • @MrCyRaX2 Your point is?

  • My cat is on Azodyl too, but I didn't know that fish oil helps, i'll have to get him on that, can he take one of those pill forms of fish oil?

  • I switched my cats from Crave to Iams a few years ago-Neither cat likes Iams-tried all recipes-no luck-went back to Crave now and then-Instant apetite-When I put them on Iams they stop eating-I won't debate the benefits of this so called supeior Iams-I will say this-Iams cat food taste crappy to cats-If they don't eat then it really doesn't matter how nutritional the food is does it? This is a message to Iams-make your food taste better-I am not feeding my cats your food ever again...ever

  • That guy is 100% gay

  • We <3 Dr. Jones!

  • Thank you SO much for this info! My cat was just diagnosed with Creatine levels of 3.0 but everything else normal so I want to stop the progression of the disease as much as I can! Thank you again and please with me the best!
