"Abide with Me" is a Christian hymn written by Scottish Anglican Henry Francis Lyte. He wrote it in 1847 while he lay dying from tuberculosis; he survived only a further three weeks after its completion.

  • What a wonderful rendition of this very moving hymn. I was glad to read the notes on its author, and how he obviously wrote it with his own death approaching. This song has been a comfort and a legacy to millions of believers, and Bryn Terfel's beautiful and powerful voice certainly does it justice.

  • The hymn was not the best musically a bit fast and not as soulful as it can be but All the verses and lyrics were there,

  • One of my favorite hymns.

  • Such a beautiful hymn and Bryn Terfel's voice is heavenly!
