A tribute to the greatest fighter jet ever conceived and built, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat. We will miss the F-14 taking to the skies to protect the US homeland. It might be retired, but it will never be forgotten. Still, it's a damn shame that this mighty warbird had to go.

This plane has the looks that says "I will shoot your ass out of my skies"!! Damn, they should make a 2008 Tomcat. This plane is THE icon for the U.S Navy, hands down.

MY lord. What a plane. I would have loved to be at the end of the assembly line to see and smell a freshly manufactured F-14D. This was an airframe ahead of its time.

Agreed but unfortunately he ordered Grumman to destroy all the molds for the Tomcat. The Tomcat has always been known as The Twin Tailed Terror but she was a beautiful aircraft in the air as well as on ground.

Amen, my fellow razgriz. The F-14 Tomcat is the best fighter jet ever created. It is my favorite plane to fly on Ace Combat 5. I wish it was still defending our homeland. Long live, the F-14 Tomcat!

Nice video, the F-14 Tomcat was a really nice aircraft.
Some countries like Russia made their own F-14 based aircraft like the MiG 23 but they couldn't compite with such a beatiful machine.
