First, I am sure you are doing great work, and are to be commended for your efforts Banamine doesn't "cure" colic, but is just a part of the colic protocol; however, I am sure you have a vet with whom you can discuss your management issues. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful. However, have you ever considered sand colic, what w/ feeding hay on that sandy ground?

@The3canines Thanks for your concern. That is the nature of Florida and having an overwhelmed horse rescue. But considering that we have from 50-70 horses at our rescue at a time, we have very few cases of colic. When we do we have Banamine on hand. We also use sand-clear when necessary.

Yes. She sticks to her like glue too! We have 3 mares and fillys but so far the Mom's won't let the fillies play together. Can't wait until they do!
