  • They arent great musicians each one, and this is why thats is magic, how a few of normal musicians, created their own kind of power metal, and how did more than 10 great CDs.Without no bads songs, this is why they are great. They fought to be there in the Concerts now, and i have to say...

BLIND GUARDIAN, THANK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC!

  • Misunderstanding. I love Blind Guardian and I think they are one of the best bands in that category. "Nerd" is only referring to their lyrics, which are somewhat comical.

So sorry, I have all the respect for their musical abilities and yes, I bought some of their CDs.

  • wow

    great

they have to do more concerts in germany

  • They also write impressive lyrics (for Germans) in non-fantasy like "punishment divine" and "age of false innocence". Also what about "And then there was Silence" song of theirs? They capture the feel of Iliad (that Homer tried to give it) perfectly. I find a lot of the lyrics of the most "serious" bands ridiculous and childish in their complexion, the Guardians have a lot of songs that they're a lot more mature EVEN if their material (where they base them to) is ridiculous....

  • Quite the opposite, I think Blind Guardian are one of the few bands who can put emotion to an otherwise emotionless and/or comical genre. Hearing the lyrics from Dragonforce to Rhapsody you can see that they are most of the times down to ridiculous. While the Guardians also have their ridiculous moments they hardly write bad lyrics. They manage to put emotion to sth (Silmarillion) that otherwise reads like the Bible (wooden/emotionless) that's fucking impressive and requires loads of talent.

  • Oh, sorry, didn`t get it! Allright then, yeah, Blind Guardian is great! No need to feel sorry,Blind Guardian forever!

  • Sorry loukas91, the post below was meant to be a reply to quincy, not to you!

  • Regardless of if you like the music, you could show some respect to their skills and especially Hansis vocal abilities. How fast he can change between low and high voice is incredible, to change that fast requires incredible ear and vocal skills so you could show some respect, no matter if you think the music sucks.
