Parody, written by my brilliant Dad. Except for four lines... those are mine.

Shenzhen= City in the very south of China.
WSI= Wall Street Interantional, an English language school.
Laowai= Chinese word for "foreigner."
Bijou= CRAZY strong Chinese 'white wine'... more like Moonshine!
Karaoke= KTV rocks.
Qing & Xie Xie= Please & Thank You
"Crowds in the subway... stressed"=People steal my sh*t on the subway. Damn you, Lao Jie station! Give me back my phone(s)/MP4 Player/Jewelry/Soul.

Lyrics:
Deep in Shenzhen is the Lonely Laowai
Qing and Xie Xie Qing and Xie Xie all day long
Taller and pale is the Lonely Laowai
With his Qing and Xie Xie singing song.

Scrounging for food is the Lonely Laowai
Qing and Xie Xie, Qing and Xie Xie for Dim Sum
Hot Pot and Jiaotzi are not "Chow Mein"
Street food may give him weeks of runs. I go~ and sing karaoke Bijou~ wow that stuff is strong My eyes, oh~ This place is pretty smokey Laowai may never belong

Always on guard is the Lonely Laowai
Crowds in the subway always leave him stressed
Are things this hard down Macao-way?
When at WSI he can rest.

So perplexed is the Lonely Laiwai
Qing and Xie Xie can only go so far
And what's next for his furrowed brow-way?
Maybe a small trip to Myanmar! I joke (But only very slightly) Don't provoke the authorities to come I'm gung-ho about my job at Wall Street But the job is never done!

You've heard my tale of a Laowai civilian
Qing and Xie Xie from Xinjiang to Guizhou
But how can you be lonely in a country of a billion?
You just go out you must not doubt be you!

PS-yeah I messed up a line. Or two. I think it's funny.
