Look at the beautiful white rink and the lovely white boards....notice the players how they are passionate for the game and defending their team-mates...honor and pride. Then in came greed, over-zealous owners and the corporations polluting the ice and boards with brand names and help turn hockey into a fairy sport with all its political correctness cr@p. I couldn't stand your rotten dirty Chicago Blackhawks, you guys and your stupid ugly red & black uniforms and annoying jerk players plus that awful horn at your stadium. @jrjmn9999 Could not skate a lick, I think I could have outskated Secord when I was a kid...lol. Didn't him and Dino take turns taking stick swings at each one game. I could imagine what the taunting between them must have been like.

This rivalry was FAR better than the current Chicago Detroit rivalry. I don't care how good Hawks are now....there is NO passion in the NHL...city rivalries are gone thanks to Bettman and conference play. United Center full and screaming at top of your lungs, is no where near as loud as Chicago Stadium with a dull roar. Completely different now. Bettman has ruined the game with rosters full of Euro-pussies who don't understand city rivalries in USA/Canada...very little checking and passion
