This is an in depth review of Canon's SD3500IS. If you're going to buy the camera, try amazon at a great $- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035FZJIK?ie=UTF8&tag=httpwwwyou02f-20&... . If you buy there using this link, I get a tiny commission.

This is an in depth first review of the new Compact digital camera the Canon SD3500 IS. First I cover the photographic then video abilities of this amazing new camera just out by Canon. After that I cover some material for any Indi Film Makers on a shoe string budget, or just ways to make the camera look it's best.

  • how do you pause while doing a video please anwer pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @groggyset2966 - there's no pause on recording mode, just starting and ending a video.

  • I have this camera and to my amazement it doesn't have a landscape mode. The manual says to select "Auto" to shoot landscape scenes. I used it on trip to London and shooting landscape in Auto mode made the pics blurry. This camera is not made for traveling.

  • @bloodline305 - Thanks for your opinion, I'd agree "if" you zoom your camera a lot. For me, when I travel, I like to shoot things close up and personal wanting the scratches of life, and this is where the 3500 excels.

  • How do you change the date and time?

  • @leifthor415 oh ok, thanks for reply.

  • @nysoundwaves - the 3500 performed great in low light situations.

  • @1248163264128256512 - It's as good a camera having all the same shooting numbers (lensmm, photo processing, HD), and the only difference is that the 960 doesn't use the full backside of the camera as the 3500 does.

  • 6:59 so are you saying the 960 is better then this one for video?

  • Did you get your girl in Pattaya

  • @nysoundwaves set it to low light and/or change the ISO 80-to-1000 might work

  • @ethanharveytv What would you recommend for filming something like a dark dance party, but you want to see both the people and the DJ lights without it being blurry?
