Very strong arm, but moves the gun a little on the shot, good shot technique, but you have to count the bullets that are in the drum ... XD

Had a 5" barrel model 10 in the early 70s. Ended up selling it because then I didn't know a place to shoot it. Wish I still had it. The reason why law enforcement went to autos was because of the Florida shootout. A couple of FBI agents were killed. The bad guys had autos while the cops had revolvers. the cops would get shot while they were reloading.

My Commander (carry 1911) will cycle empty cases from the magazine without jamming. I have also practiced clearing stovepipes, doublefeeds, and other semi-auto malfunctions. Revolvers - while more reliable, are NOT impervious to malfunction. They are also mechanical in nature, and every mechanism will fail at one time or another. Best thing to do is train for the situation - that means hitting your target and clearing malfunctions. If you cannot do either, you might as well not carry a gun.

oh okay 1911 are good but think if your bullet or slide jams and you have to pry the bullet out and stuff with revolver thers no bullet jams and no slide to deal with but im not saying that i dont like semi autos i love hks

I'm a gunsmith. I was just commenting on the relatively light recoil of the .38 Spl round. Recoil isn't necessarily good or bad... if you're trying to shoot accurately and rapidly it's bad. But for a fun day at the range I like a little more kick.
Besides, there's a reason police departments aren't carrying these around anymore. More kick comes with more firepower. My .45 ACP 1911 would perform much better than one of these revolvers. They're excellent guns, just not my choice for defense.
