Clip of the making of Baso Mere in Pune, India in April 2009.
Baso Mere is a devotional song in the Bopali dialect of India.
The meaning of the song is a request or prayer that we might both take in and reflect out to the world with divine love. To see and to be seen as love.
Translated means:
O Son of Nand Come and reside in my eyes.
Your dark complexion is charming to look at.
Thy eyes are lovely, handsome and large.
Nectar is spreading on Thy lips, and a flute is placed there upon.
Mira's Lord is very compassionate and
takes loving care of His devotees, and delights the hearts of holymen!

i received this song as a healing in an Ayahuasca ceremony, it is the most beautiful song. i had a vision of a woman lying under a tree with a lioness; petting her affectionately waiting for the world to wake up to peace and love...made me cry. Such a beautiful song, i must learn how to sing and play it. Thank you for sharing!
