Please use some common sense! This video/idea is terrible! Have you actually done any research into the amount of energy a dynamo can generate? Are you going cycle on a bike for an hour to generate enough energy which on the current national grid would cost you less than 20 pence (UK)? Let me see how much fresh fruit and vegetables you can buy with that pay cheque!!! Unfortunately your theory sucks!

Try running even a compact fluorescent bulb for any meaningful amount of time with a bicycle generator and you will discover just how ridiculous this idea really is.

Moreover, people want to do meaningful things with their lives. Active people tend to spend their energy doing these things instead of riding stationary bicycles all day.

this video is great. Convert some fat people into energy :) What a wonderfull idea. and I have another great idea. One typical USA citizen uses extreme amount of energy. Kill one american and you save enough energy for 25 another poor people in developing country. One killed USA fatbastard= energy consumtion will be reduced. Kill all american(or at least one half of them-every with SUV and big house) and will be no more wars for oil.

This is real solution of energy crises and climate change.

but, this message is broadcast around the world using satelites..

HOW MUCH RENEWABLE ENERGY WOULD IT TAKE TO PUT A SATELITE IN ORBIT.

just think about it. Windmills, firewood, ... to put something in orbit?!!!!
