A Timothy McVeigh Execution Roadtrip Part 03 of 04

Back in 2001 the federal government executed a man for the first time since 1963, Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh killed 168 people when he detonated an explosive device outside of a federal building in Oklahoma City, OK. This senseless act of pre 9/11 terrorism occured on April 19, 1995, exactly 2 years to the day when a standoff between the ATF agents and a relegious sect led by David Koresch resulted in the death of some 80 "cult" members. Innocent men, women, and children were killed in both instances. The final result, one of our very own U.S. soldiers, Timothy McVeigh, a gulf war veteran who was a part of General Schwarzkopf's elite inner circle during Desert Storm, was executed by lethal injection in Terre Haute, Ind. Six of us retraced these steps, from Waco, to Oklahoma City, and finally Terre Haute, in search of understanding on the eve of the McVeigh execution. This is what we brought back.

i was at the bombing and had just had back surgery that morning a couple of blocks away. it threw me out of bed and almost busted the windows out of the hospital on the 6th floor from where i was at. i remember everybody running around thinking the hospital had blowed up and i couldnt do anything but lay flat once i got back into bed. and when i went home a few days later three to be exact the feds was everywhere i remember. 100s of them working the case. rip vicitms. godbless

Well basically McVeigh was killed because the government, itself commited murder in Waco and in Idaho and when they got hit back, acted like the terrorist they are. They could not stand that they did wrong and were severly punished for it and had to murder someone to feel better. They did not give a rats ass about innocent lives, they never have. No its all an excuse!
