The secret donor is Rex's father; Roxy has never revealed to Rex the identity of his father, most recently claiming that his father is dead, but Roxy got Kyle to harvest the stem cells from a blood sample of a man in a coma at a care facility (Stacy followed her and this is how she was able to blackmail Roxy into saying that Stacy was the match; Kyle went along with it because it gave him leverege with Roxy--a free room).

Submitted by Cosmic Lad I've been watching for a couple years on and off now.  We know the donor is Rex's father, but Roxy insists his father was someone horrible that she killed.  At least that's what she told Rex. She and Kyle took the donoation from whoever it is while he was comatose, but after they left he woke up.  He got a nurse to call Roxy and tell her he died, but he's up and around really.  They've never said his name or shown him directly. 

Patricia Mauceri has been reportedly fired from the recurring role of  Carlotta Vega on One Life to Live allegedly due to the star's protests about Carlotta's small role in the upcoming gay storyline between Kyle (Brett Claywell) and Fish (Scott Evans). Mauceri was supposed to have a small role in the upcoming "Kish" storyline. She objected to Carlotta's positive attitude about homosexuality, saying it conflicted with her personal beliefs." Its unclear if she meant it would be inconsistent with Carlottas attitude
(being very Roman Catholic ) , or the personal beliefs of the actress herself.
The source goes on to say the role of Carlotta was recast with Saundra Santiago (Guiding Light, The Sopranos, and Miami Vice). Her first tape day was Friday 6/26. Santiago previously played the role of Isobella Santi on OLTL.

Jared and Natalie press Kyle for answers, but all he can share is the donor is in Room 302 at the Clinic. When the trio arrives at the clinic they hit a brick wall. Jared and Natalie confront Roxy after Kyle reveals she has a safety stash of the donors stem cells, but the stem cells were snatched from Roxy by Gayle Collins (the mystery donors nurse). Just as Rex is trying to confess to Gigi that he slept with Stacy, Natalie and Jared arrive with the bad news that they came up empty handed. Meanwhile Gayle Collins shows up at Stacys and gives her the stem cells, and tells the baffled ballerina that the mystery donor is on her side.
Gigis not happy when Rex insists he must continue to play Stacy until they find out who the donor is. Rex returns home and searches for the stem cells without success. Rex wards off Stacys advances. Fish runs into Kyle at Capricorn where hes meeting Layla for their date.
