Stefan Raab tried to be sarcastic when he'd come to the point of Tokio Hotel.. Several months he made jokes about them in every show, but his bad english and the fact that he isn't a great interviewer makes people think he's serious about it..
He wears a helmet because he's also sarcastic about german yellow press, and they'd written something about helmet day that day, I guess.
John once said in another interview that he likes Rammstein.

And to everybody who can't tell, that's Flea in the reaper outfit, that's his sense of humor
