Yes..the N96 was a total flop but the N97 isn't THAT bad. It's VERY disappointing but still good. However apparently Nokia is redesigning it's OS completely. The S70 series are soon to come out. Maybe it will be better and maybe not.
My dream is to have these: N95 8GB & N97, Omnia i8910, iPhone 3GS, Blackberry Storm2 9520, HTC HD2 & Hero, Palm Pre, the Nokia N900.
I want to test the best of the best of phones and OS.

I haven't had an iPhone, so I can't comment on that. Also I can't argue that Symbian is the most used phone OS nowadays, but I think that Android and maybe Windows Mobile have a big future ahead (and maybe Maemo). When Nokia took out N95, it was a blast, but the next were a disaster - N96 and N97. Also many complain about the new S60v5.
You can't convince me to go back to Symbian. :)

Yes I agree with you that most of the code is useless. I don't know why but Symbian developers do tend to make a lot of mistakes. But my point is that since Symbian is an open OS, many other developers make samll fixes that improve the OS. Symbian isn't impressive out of the box. It's the aftermarket products and hacks and fixes by great developers that make it one of the best. I've had an N73. It doesn't compare with N95 believe me. And I've had an iPhone. Great touchscreen but nothing else

if you look at the video properly its in my opinion and no one elses and also the samsung glyde is s**t its aknow fact that theyre will nto be another phone like the n95 for another 2 years....Watch this space ;)
