Why doesn't the news report on the real issue! The PO having been ordered to prefund future retiree benefits for 75 years! Since 2006 they've had to pay 5.5 BILLION dollars per year and have to continue to do so until 2016! Why did congress do this to the Post office? This is why the PO looks like it is losing so much money. Another thing, I just got hired to carry mail!!! Well gee finally get off unemployment and now I'll be out a job again if they cut SATURDAY MAIL!!! F!@%!!

The postal service has too damned many chiefs and not enough indians. Same ole shit caused by government rules and regulations. Too much bullshit and not enough getting the mail delivered. Get the government out of it and problem solved.

Agreed, but I suspect the charges are going to go through the roof. I've been using USPS for my EBay sales because it's massively cheaper than UPS or FedEx. But I don't think it will remain so.

The same thing has been happening in the UK. ROyal Mail is struggling to compete with the private services and of course the internet.

NO Netflix or Gamefly or Ebay or Amazon WTF mate how the hell iam i going to buy shit of the interwebs? Are they stupid, so many companies depend on the USPS they can't just shut that thing down. I NEEDS MY MAILS!!!!!!. They should mail shit all week long even on sundays id vote for that, i hate waiting until monday to get my stuff.
