"When I was approached by prison officials regarding being interviewed by National Geographic, my instant and initial response was a resounding NO. Duration, I elected to afford the National Geographic producers the opportunity to alter my previous inclination regarding this. Ultimately be it hesitantly so, I had agreed to grant the interview as requested. Initially I was apprehensive and the myriad of queries I was posed with during the course of the interview had resulted in several sleepless nights wherefore revisiting graphic memories where in concert with my past affiliations with the Aryan Brotherhood.

All in a culmination of three weeks which the course of the interview had entailed I had experienced a sense of rightness - which had planted my initial apprehensiveness. For it is easy to decry that there are a great many social maladies within what I deem to be a morally bankrupt society at large from one coast of this nation to the other. Many of these social elements are born in the American prison system today and once they become components of this ill cohere they infiltrate the free world society with long lasting and far reaching deleterious results. Attracting attention and awareness to this threat which the AB and prison culture in general poses to society at large must become a duty of all defectors of the gang lifestyle; Born of the social and moral responsibility to our children and community's welfare.

The film crew of National Geographic provided that forum and they did so in a dignified, respectful and professional manner. If, something positive can be gleamed from such a negative experience than that experience did not elapse in vain."
