On saying that, there has to be negative ramifications to our earth as we pull it's ingredients from the ground in mass abundance & destroy whole rainforests in record timeframes to use in shitty oils in food that shouldn't be used anyway. Just like any living form like humans, donkeys, cows, etc, etc, the Earth (although waaaay for resiliant than any beast) has to have a breaking point, like if you keep removing the blood or internal organs of a human, they will eventually die. Same with Earth.

@iron13man the only thing i disagree with you on is when you say no one can force us to use solar and wind power. they cannot actually force us to purchase them now but the legislation that they intend to pass into law would make it impossible to get anything other than what is deemed "green" by a board appointed and paid by the people passing the legislation. they've already started this process in making it impossible for us to utilize our own fossil fuels by "demagoguing" fossil fuels.

@slshaw1234 No one can force us to use solar and wind power. It's too expensive an initial investment for many. If they prove we do or do not need it wont matter. What matters is weather an individual wants to get solar and wind now and save money later or use public power. These debates are silly because neither side has complete information and yet they argue. The truth is probably that they are both correct to some degree. Yet they act as if the world is black and white. Nice reframe.

@iron13man the problem is not that they wish to use solar and wind power, it's that they wish to force us to use solar and wind power without first proving that it's a necessary, financially viable option for replacing fossil fuels. I completely agree that if they were to go into the woods and live in a small solar cabin (something I intend to do) there would be no problem, and it would help in conserving fossil fuels. live and let live. liberty or death.

Weather they prove or disprove global warming does not matter at all. What matters is that people use more renewable energy because the planets resources wont last forever. Also there is nothing wrong with people using more solar and wind power.

What does anyone get out of fighting against the belief in global warming? hmmm
