  • Hi Sogwa. Asperger syndrome do not HAVE to be a disability. It become a disability when nurture is on crash course with nature. In the right place at the right time Asperger syndrome can be an advantage while in other situations it is a handicap.

  • I don't exactly agree that people with Asperger's Syndrome are less capable of empathising with others in general. I think it would be more precise to say they are less able to empathise with the average person about everyday preoccupations and interests. Indeed, they can be great humanitarians.

  • I got all those traits

  • i have aspergers

  • This video is so true.

  • You are anti-help and pro-termination for this new Aspie Diagnosis coming out for parents. If my mum accidentally had a 4th, she would not care in the eyes of life whether she had an autistic.

  • I'd never heard "An infinite inner monologue"!!! That is SO RIGHT ON. As for "Lowered capability to experience other people('s) emotions" it's the extreme OPPOSITE of that for me. Ever see article titled "A Radical New Autism Theory"? Google it! THAT is how it is for me; I FEEL what they're feeling intensely!

  • @Sogwa: 'NT' is an acronym for 'Neurotypical,' which is defined as any individual who is not Autistic (Autistic Spectrum Disorder, including Asperger's). The term NT is objective/factual, without value judgment. Much like I have NT friends, as I have friends who are left-handed, etc.

  • @misstiggykins

Very correct & 100% true! What is NT tho?!?!

  • I fit 100% all these examples EXCEPT I don’t do ‘’repetitive’’ things such as walk in the street! However, outside of the weird or perhaps dangerous repetitive acts, WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE REST?!

I know I have ADD, I just never considered this. My therapist who diagnosed me with this said women with auspi. grossly go unrecognized.

I do know that on this incel message board, many of the guys have this, & I have a hell of a time with jobs & dating not to mention that I’m terrible shy!
