If people weren't buying, that's one thing. But we see here that at least 499 have been sold. Call it a cool 500, and we're talking 2.5mil.

Mixed feelings about this. On one hand I love the axe bass. Loved it when Gene 1st used it. I play bass myself & would love to own one if I could. But here's the kicker: a $5000.00 price tag! Oh sure, you get to meet Gene, IF KISS comes to your city, right? What about the average Joe who might just wanna buy it at his local guitar shop? And the price is also prohibitive; can't afford it! But it's another day at the office for Gene as he racks up 100's of sales at this price? In THIS economy? NO!
