Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) calls on Secretary of State-Designate Hillary Clinton to reaffirm her support for recognizing the Armenian Genocide upon taking office. The exchange took place during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's confirmation hearing. January 13, 2009.

Armenian Genocide will not be recognized simply because you, the reader, are not doing anything about it. If you joined Armenian organization, you would add one more voice to Armenian lobby in US. But since people like you just live their everyday life and do not get involved, Turkish government will continue it's prevention of recognition in US.

Unfortunately, Hillary is friends of the Turkish government. She was the Special Guest 1 yr ago at the Turkish American Convention in NYC. Do you really think Ms. Hillary will stand up to Turkish threats, lobbying and their other propaganda machine?

We missed the boat when we didn't include Greek, Armenian and Assyrian with this genocide as so many of their people were slaughtered as well by the butchers of the Ottoman Empire.

There is a long list of wrongs to set right from the Bush & Co regime. Condoliza Rice spent 20 minutes in early 2007 speaking to a Congressional hearing refusing to admit to an Armenian genocide.
