That is exactly why systems don't work. You can have rules without having a system. The important thing is to recognize the changing market conditions and adapt. The faster one learns to respond to the ever changing market dynamics the more successful he will become. Everyday is an experiment and frustrations are part of the game but try not to let it cloud your judgement and penetrate your emotions.

Hey Andy, how you deal with what worked yesterday isn't working today? Do you ever experiment or just stick to the rules. Must be frustrated not knowing what works.

THey don't have an ETF for this sector as far as I know. The Baltic Dry Index does exist, but I dont know if theres a way to trade the sector as a whole. DRYS is the leader, then EXM, TBSI, QMAR, EGLE, NM, and a few others. They make great straight up or down runs.

I will trade DRYS and thing can crazy, Havn't tradedthe others you mentioned or maybe I did and just can't reccollect. I know they were hot for a whie.Maybe I'll check them out. Let me know if they have an 'ETF or a Holderthey trade under, I will create a watch list.

That has been a demon of mine in the past. I would have a real good month going and then back like 5k. That always hurts. I won't say that I have exorcized them completely but they have been somewhat weakened over the years. If I hit the 2k down point now I will go into protection mode

I watch these videos everyday as well..they've helped me greatly. Today was rough for me also, the market just kept slowly moving higher and I was just waiting for a big swing in either direction and it never came.
