NEVER USE NEWSPAPER......its very bad for any kind of glass, though it may seem easy and even cleaning would be good but it reduces the life of the glass...

Professionals, like me, only recommend using Microfiber Chamois and other specific glass cleaning wipes.
Never use paper towels, they are too abrasive.
Newspaper has ink that can smear, damage, scratch, and just make a larger mess.
