The fight on terror is a combined effort by all NATO nations. The objective is to protect the Afghanistan people and to help promote peace in the Middle East, a threshold of violence and act of terror for half a century.
Any soldier who has the courage to don that uniform (American, British, Iraqi, Turkish) and the like deserve the utmost respect and are heroes. Hopefully this war will end soon, and Iraq and Afghanistan can enjoy some years of progress and peace thereafter.
