Bridge over I-75 at 9 Mile Road was damaged in 8,000 Gallon gas and 4,000 gallon tanker fire lodged beneath the Northbound lane. Flames and smoke rise 100 feet into the air, visible in Royal Oak, 5 miles away. The eastern half of the overpass falls to the pavement, crushing the tanker below. Arround the clock demolition of the overpass begins Thursday about Noon and is completed early Saturday afternoon.
hmm look at those twisted beams.
Reminds me of what happened to the Trade Centers on 911.

The flames were over 2,000 degrees. I don't think any amount of engineering could fight that. Thanks a lot for the vid. I was hoping someone would do that. Hopefully it will re-open Mon.
