I agree, he definitely plays faster than 4.6, the way he's burning kids on this video, at least.

Same goes for Lumsden. He runs a 4.4 but looks like damn-near a 4.3 on the field.

And check out the Jesse Lumsden vid. That guy could be an NFL starter, he is absolutely tearing up the CFL, the best Canadian college RB ever. Jesse Lumsden is a lot like Steven Jackson. Lumsden could be a top 15 NFL RB, maybe even top 10; he is that good!

And there are loads of "top" NFL runners in the 4.6 range. If you don't believe me check it out nfldraftscout(dot)com. It is a myth that most NFL RBs and WRs have world class speed. That is the false argument made against Canadians, and even more so white Canadians. If a white hasn't won 100 Meter Gold since 1980 then how can they play in the NFL? Plus he's Canadian he can't play w/ the big boys. That is just BS my friends. This guy could make a good 3rd string NFL RB.

Actually to tell you the truth I think there are a few Canadian teams that could beat Northern Illinois or North Texas; they were pretty bad this year. And there are RBs who are in the NFL who are slower than Stephenson. Ken Darby 4.75, Nate Illoa 4.77 from last yrs draft, Mike Anderson 4.69, Tony Hunt 4.68, This yr. M. Hart is a top guy and he runs a 4.67, Yvenson Bernard is ranked in the top 40 by nfldraftscout and he runs a 4.83. Darryl cuts well for a man his size and is a bull of a runner.

Unfortunately he only ran a 4.7 at the CFL combine; he was very disappointed b/c he had run sub 4.6s before. But he plays faster than his time for sure. And as far as the level of competition; the very best teams in the CIS might be able to beat mid-level skill Div. IA teams like Temple, Iowa State, Nothern Illinois, North Texas, Northwestern etc. They would get blown out by LSU though probably like 52-3.
