Not perfect, but when I was 10 I was better at foul shots than any NBA player. Because the game isn't playing, it's who can get away with more fouls. What is the longest amount of time between uncalled travels in the NBA? 4 seconds? What a fucking joke.

naw man not only did they score more in this era but they played a faster tempo, only the pistons and the knicks shrunk the court like that. I played in highschool college and in some semi pro leagues where they played under nba rules, with the handchecking and illegal defense, It was impossible to guard anyone because of the space, u could get to the basket sooooo much easier, but hey we are never going to see it the same way

So lemme get this straight..U think it's "easier" to score with a guy handchecking & placing a bent forearm on U, while aggressively bodying U as well, which keeps U from "consistently" gettin' off open & clean looks/shots?

i was more effective with the one on one physical play than i was with athletic guys crowding swarming and stacking the lane yes. U have to understand that in that run and gun era u can put alot of points on the board before the defense even got set. And for your info they still handcheck now even on the peremeter, they grab they hold its not much diff. Go to a game and sit close its more physical than u would believe,
