This should have ten times as many views...I thought everyone wanted to be a movie director, writer or actor? I guess there's not as much competition out there as I thought...well, not ones who are serious about it enough to watch all of Dov's wonderful videos here and get his tips.

Excellent recap, it has my interest to the fullest and I've got to get to the two day live class. Being in this industry as I am I know what the bottom line is. It's A BUSINESS NOT A CRAFT ANYMORE !!! SO HIS INFO IN THIS AREA IS INCREDIBLE & CRUCIAL AND HE'S TEACHING IT!!! NO ONE DOES THAT IN TINSEL TOWN, NO WAY !!! IT'S KEPT SECRET SO YOU CAN FAIL!!! Anyone can make a film/video. Just point a camera and shoot! youtube proves that. Real filmmaking is NOT a craft but an art. One either has talent for it or not, like in any other real art. And one cannot LEARN talent!

Yeah, going to film school is pretty bogus. You'd be better off studying humanities and learning about the world. Technical filmmaking can be learned quickly like many crafts.

Actually, this guys book is probably the best book on making movies ever written, and his 2 day course is supposed to be awesome.
