The rationale for labour to send SAS, P3 Orion, Frigates was in contradiction to labour's ideologocal philosophy and this is why labour heavily downgraded the NZ defence force was a product of labour's ideology (McCraw, 2006). THis will be at cost of NZ citizens who serve the nation abroad and the isolation mentality of NZers. When Labour sent those forces in it was for realist approach to the world which contradicted the 'benign' claim they electionaired on. Politicisation of Defence.

Good speech. Shame it was in the House - the vast majority of New Zealanders don't hear anything that is said in the house. This speech is something they should hear.
