The first Bound for Glory really showed that TNA was capable of making a PPV on the fly. Nash had a heart issue the night before, so the main event was really screwed. I remember jumping off the couch with the conclusion of this main event, the biggest surprise in wrestling, even slightly today. Never EVER thought Rhino would get the NWA World Heavyweight Belt. Goes to show, sometimes in wrestling, a buried talent can be resurrected. Even for a short time. This was Rhino's Glory!

@Ben10Marvelfan Yep. Amazing talent in the form of 60-year-olds who belong in bingo halls instead of wrestling rings. And, yes, great wrestling, as evidenced by the illogical and piss-poor booking, screwy finishes in every main event known to man (including this one), and obligatory seventeen swerves a month. And, in the biggest paradox of all, TNA claims that "Wrestling matters" when they have worthless 25-minute promos that drag on and on. Oh yeah, TNA is really a marvel to behold.

I think if Styles would've won the battle royal and the NWA World Title match it would've been a little more of an amazing story than Rhino's. Three matches in succession, one being a 30-minute Iron Man Match, and also being the X Division Champion at the same time. Pure awesomeness.
TNA has done more with rhino then WWE did. WWE wasted him.
