Good pointer! I never buy self rising, because I might use it once a year, if that, but I never knew exactly what was in it. I've always just thrown in "some" baking powder and let it slide. And sometimes that can fizzle pretty badly... LOL
@anmoose Lately I have resorted to googling everything before I buy it. If I can make it with things I have on hand, I want to give it a go. Sometimes it is faster, easier to just buy it..but I thought what a waste this would be. Now I can make a loaf here or there!
