THe Dutch team is getting a lot of goals from the PC. But they aren't bad in the standard situations/field either.

The PC is just a nice addon :P

I think you are making a huge sweeping statement here, you're saying the Netherlands can't win without PC so they go 'cheat' by manufacturing them. Sounds a bit lame to me

Yep. As I say; all part of the game by now. I remember when the obstruction started to become more complicated years ago, and now people can actively turn their back on opposition with them between ball with no obstruction. The thing is - if you make a rule - you also make a way to use the rule. Not trying to get away from the line of this stream. Taeke IS one of the best players in the world, that's easy for anyone to see. But I wonder if he would want any but his best friends to comment on him

yeah I didn't mean that it's a good thing to fake but if you force it to an opposition's foot it's still allowed

My comment was partly facetious (a lot of teams 'force the PC). However, if you read the rules thoroughly - it is tantamount to cheating to 'manufacture'. I.E. any penalty in which you attempt to make out like the opposition fouled is considered cheating. The rules are quite punishing on manufacturing - players can be sent off for trying to fake the other persons foul. IMHO manufacturing has become so embedded as to be part of the game - thus players openly exclaim - 'force the foul'.

sorry I can't see what's wrong with that because if you're running it into the D and you can't see any of your team's open sticks then the thing you're meant to do is force a short corner
