  • How much food do they eat on an average day? this video was very helpful.

  • @nicolyoly23 I find that each pig eats about 1/4 of pellets. Barnaby and Ernie between the two of them eat 3/4 of a cup of pellets though, so just slightly more than the other guys. They all eat tons of hay! I fill the hay racks about twice a day. Morning and night. Each piggy eats at least 1 cup of veggies a day.

  • i have some questions about skinny pigs

1: Can they have bedding? or is it best to use flieece?

2:where can i get a skinny pig i live in nc?

    3:also where can i get a c&c cage?

4: where can i also get cozy sacs beds stuff like that?

bc i really want 1 they r sooo adorble btw nice video

  • @angel19166 You can put them on carefresh bedding, or any soft recycled bedding. Don't use any shavings, the oils and the scratchyness of shavings will irritate their skin.

You can check places like craigslist, local shelters and rescues.

I bought the grids at a hardware store, other people buy them at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, places like that.

You can get coroplast at hardware stores, sign shops.

I buy my cozy sacs from piggybedspreads

  • how big cage do they need?

  • @skinnypigs1 thanks

  • would guinea pig cages do for their cage????

  • @buthe6 yeah, there is nothing you can do to help that. They will get used to that noise, just as long as it isn't right in their room.

  • @skinnypigs1 whould they be alright if the door was closed and the dog was barking downstairs

  • @buthe6 depends what your dog would do. If he is going to bark then I wouldn't because that will really scare them, but if he doesn't try to bark or be mean then I guess it is okay. I would only let him see them under supervision.
