A West Michigan woman has returned to Haiti, helping children at a school she founded in Port-au-Prince. Mallery Thurlow is the founder of the non-profit Haiti Foundation Against Poverty based in Grand Rapids. She first went to Haiti on a Christian mission trip six years ago and fell in love with the area and its citizens. Now, after last week's earthquake, Thurlow is back and helping those who have become so dear to her.
