  • I did. As you can see by the date of this video, this was an old assignment, so I'd known my mark for a while now. But I did get an A, which was kind of shocking for me.

    Funny, but I never thought of it as an adolescent book. I first read it as an adult, and was surprised that people usually read it in middle school. There is so much of life and meaning that I think few middle-schoolers can truly appreciate. I guess we can get whatever we're ready to at whatever age, but I would argue that it is NOT an adolescent book. It is just about an adolescent.
