This is from the last episode of Sailor Moon Super S. I thought it was really nice so I'm sharing it with the rest of you. It's in Japanese with English subtitles.

  • I always prefer the Japanese version....but in the English version of this scene, Sailor Moon actually says "I still pity you" instead of "To you, I will never lose." I think that's a lot more in-character for her to say ("I still pity you"), especially considering the situation.

  • I honestly don't know which line I like more.

Normally she would probably say something like "I still pity you." That line does seem to suit her more. But in this situation, Nehellenia threw Chibi-usa off the platform, so she was really mad and worried, which makes it appropriate for her to say some out-of-character things.

  • thanx for uploading this!! can u tell me wat episode it is that sailor moon first gets those wings?

  • I don't recall the exact episode, but I think it was near the beginning of the Sailor Moon Super S season.

  • I agree this is a very sad and touching scene, but has anyone else noticed how BIG that skyscraper was!!! DANG! And imagine being in the building. Ok.. imagine this...

    You're working in your office

"ring ring ring" You pick up the phone

    "hello"

    "Yes uh huh.."

"Ok I'll direct your call to the front desk"

"Please- AAAAAAAH!!!!!! WTF!! A GIRL WITH LONG BLONDE HAIR IN A PRETTY DRESS AND SOME KID JUST FELL THROUGH THE SKY IN FRONT OF MY WINDOW!!!"

  • That skyscraper must have been 1000 stories

  • she must have been falling for like two hours.

  • i prefer the english line but the scream and emotion still lies in the japanese version me thinks

  • Huh, in all honesty, the english version isn't that far off, at least for this episode. The music's the same (which is a big shocker) and the dialogue isn't that bad considering how crappy english dubs are.

I'll still always prefer the Jap over english, but I own this ep (and the previous six) on DVD in english only, so...yup.

    Sailor Moon forever!!! 8D

  • @jsnthompson4 Yeah I was thinking the same thing "PULL YOUR ARMS AND LEGS IN DAMNIT... wait somehow changing into a dress makes you faster? NOOOO!!" xD still a moving scene though.

  • What episode is this?

  • @RubyDust if she wants to catch up to Chibiusa more effectively, she should close her arms into her body and straiten them out and bring her legs together and straighten them as well, she would be more aerodynamic that way. Thats how Chuck Norris's character Scott McCoy in delta force 2 did it to catch up to Ramone Cota after Scott threw him out of a plain with no parachute which he did in response to an unsuccessful bribe attempt by Cota.

  • @1999princessangel why did?

  • @Dawnslight16 yep
