The focus of the documentary wasn't only BASIS Tucson, but also BASIS Scottsdale. They were showing the whole BASIS system and how it is much more advanced than other schools in America.
I totally agree with you! Being American and knowing what is going on in the world, I always try to inform the people of our nation that things aren't going to stay the same forever beacause China and India are surpassing us in the education category. I'm only 14 years old and this stuff AMAZES me! I also think it's a shame that with all of the technology the U.S has, we are being beaten in mathematics by rural ares that barely have air conditioning. I hope this makes a difference.
