The Chambord coffee press from Bodum offers classic form and function and an unbeatable value. It's lovely at the dinner table, and convenient in the office.
Here is a suggestion I read from someone else's video on here. After you pour the hot water over the grounds, set a saucer on top and brew for 3.5 minutes. Remove the saucer and without stirring use a couple tablespoons to remove as many of the grounds from the top before plunging. This allows the plunger to go down more easily AND reduces the grounds that the remaining cups of coffee will be standing in -- helps stop the continued steeping.
hmm...was thinking about getting one of these but never understood how they worked. Thanks Green Mountain Man! Awesome step by step clear instructions!
Are you using fresh ground coffee? what kind of grinder to you have? Are you grinding too course or not course enough. how long are you steeping. Is the water you are using too hot.
nice,,job ,,I just got a press,,, But I`m getting what I think is a kind a earthy taste or maybe just the taste of base notes,Columbina and eathoeipan coffee taste the same...do you have a comment but not on my spelling,,nice video,,,
there was not a very big bloom on top of the coffee when he added water. That means the coffee was not fresh. You would think that since Green mountain coffee made the video they would given big boy some fresh beans to work with.
thanks
