OMG-this is my favorite disco song ever-you know the history of the creation of this song! So original, so beautiul, so perfectly "of the moment" in summer/fall 1976 (still awesome 33 years later!!)

wow im an old school DJ from70s and i use to play this song in the clubs la fem, roseland , the original lime lite ,and the barefoot boy on 2nd ave in nyc where disco began i really miss those days

I raemember just starting out & going to this closet size record store across the street from the Montreal Forum where the 12" was just starting to be introduced but still pretty rare & I pulled the salesperson to the side. i asked him if he had any 12 inch singles, he looked at me for a couple of seconds then from under the counter he pulled this classic.
