All you really need to do is request a card without BLINK and there will be no RFDI chip. Easy and no damage to your card.

Best way I've seen to take care of the chip without damaging the physical card is to run a very strong magnet over the back of it. This will disrupt/damage the RFID chip circuits and make the card inoperable when reading. Swiping it still works.

What type of battery, and power output does this chip have? I will have to check my Chase Master Card for this chip...

so many version's of doing this, how about one that doesn't leave damage to the card. If they get to hide the chip I want to be able to hide that I made it not work.

Also a hammer can be used so you don't have an odd hole in your credit card
