  • Thank you Rick Mercer for making this all clear as mud, haha~! XD

  • @zachsocool16 ignorance is bliss LOL. i do hope you know the conservative party of Canada in it's current form is in fact a coalition between the CCRAP and the PC's. the NDP would never forom a coalition with the bloc. however i could see them making concessions to the bloc for support in confidence and supply.

  • Privatize the CBC! This is all bullsh*t

  • @HumpDeBump100 Umm... They're not? They're just explaining how our system works

  • Fuck you mercer. send you to fema camp, idiot

  • I have a question mister mercer... why is the school system in canada run by leftists?

  • @dave19941000 Are you american or something.

Cuz anyone with half a brain would realize that nobody would say that statement in a serious and non-sarcastic manner.

  • brilliant rick.. i hope you have a field day...ok 4 years...making up funny skits about the scandals from the con. government.. cant wait to see them

  • @protazoid well in most countries even Canada and you know this the PM does not require a majority he or she (I live in Australia and Julia Gillard is our PM) merely requires the support of the Lower House (although its very difficult here when the Government can't pass legislation through our elected Senate).

  • Really? A majority of Canadians didn't know this?

For my American friends, when a PM holds a majority in the HOC it would be like the president having absolute control over congress and the senate. Might not be perfect but at least strong majority governments don't get crippled in debate and lack of action.
