  • The sizes for the strips are found in the CrazyShortcuts Book by Marguerita McManus.

  • Hello Tina and great videos. Can you tell us what size your strips are? They look to be about 1 1/2" wide. Is that correct?

  • @Loralye2 It depends on which ones. The top or bottom?

  • This is a great video except that it would have been nice if the camera did some close ups of when you attached the blocks together. It was hard to see everything. I am going to try it tho and see if I can do it. Thanks Tina, I know it is hard to please everyone.

  • @upwards11 I will see if we can't do a close up on this next project coming up.

  • On the front sash, don't you have a raw edge?

  • @Savtax2 Yes, the front is not folded in half like the sash in the back. But, when the blocks are sewn together there is no raw edge.

  • I enjoyed your video, but what size are the strips that you're using, are they different sizes for the top and back? Thanks, Teresa

  • Would love to see more close ups and maybe a bit less actual stitching time though Super Video!! Nothing beats actually watching the block go together step by step. I'm off to find the Crazy Shortcut Quilts book :-) Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

  • I also would like to know what the width of the strips are that you are using. Loralye2 thinks 1-1/2 inch, but if you're using 1/4 inch seam, that leaves an entire 1-1/4 inch to cover the other side. I'm thinking 3/4-1 inch. Don't keep us guessing, Tina. This is a great video and has helped me immensely. Thanks.

  • Sorry Tina, I was assuming both sides were the same size strips. Can you tell me the size strips for both sides? Thanks!
