@deniahmad9 That is not correct, British & Commonwealth Forces were tortured enslaved and even sent to Death Camps. In POW Camps the soldiers died from disease, starving, etc. The Germans did not follow the Geneve Convention. However compared to the Slavs & Jews the British were treated "better".

The praise Rommel deserves is for being an inovator in tank warfare. Also, even though he fought for Hitler, he was not part of his political wing, the Nazi party. War is a bitch and sometimes good men do bad things. when you hardly have enough to feed your own soldier, do you take their rations and give them to the POW's? And to all us flag waving Americans, what's the difference to Lebenstrum and what we did to The American Indian during American expansion?

at 3:06 the General obeyed the rule of Geneva Convention, they treated the British Commonwealth POW so well,...:D ....Thank you General!
I am English. My late Grandfather fought with Montgomery and the British Eighth Army against Rommell and the Afrika Corps in North Africa in World War II. Of course he did not like the Germans, but he always stated that he had the utmost respect for the German soldiers for their excellence and bravery. They did not have to like eachother to admire and respect the fighting soldier. The German soldier was a superb solider and while I am gald they lost ;), you cannot take that away from them!!

@johan12564 If Rommel had gotten at least 55% of his reinforcements, he would have crashed Montgomery, idiot.
