Wouldn't the water in the mortar mix freeze and compromise the integrity of the wall? I don't mean to be a dick here, I could be wrong.

Everything about this film is gripping. Because it really happened. I've read all of Solzhenitsyn's books. He was a lot smarter than anyone Harvard ever produced. Solzhenitsyn is Ivan Denisovich. He wrote this book from memory when he got out of the gulag. He had that good of a memory. This is probably the most important movie on YouTube.
